Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: No longer running/opening PDF’s

Method 1:
Uninstall Acrobat Reader DC in the Control panel
Restart the computer, and follow the link below to re-download Acrobat Reader DC
Install the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC again, and if it doesn’t work from there follow Method 2 from this point.

Method 2:
Open Regedit by using the command Win+R and typing Regedit and pressing okay
You’ll be asked for UAC(User Account Control) permissions and will need to confirm it by pressing the ”Yes” Option.
Navigate to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionImage File Execution Options
Then find and delete the key AcroRd32.exe
Reboot the computer and it will be resolved.
