Forgot Password/Pin, Now Phone is Locked: How to Factory Reset Any Android Device

If you lost the pin or password to your phone and can’t use the device because of it, you can factory reset your device to unlock it.

It’s important to note, this will erase everything on the phone that is not saved to a memory card (if you have one) or to the SIM card. Don’t try this method unless you’re ok with resetting the device. This code is used for factory format. It’ll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It’ll also reinstall the phone firmware.

*Once you give this code, there is no way to cancel the operation unless you remove the battery from the phone.*

To reset:

Start by removing the SIM card from the phone (if you have one) and enter the following number: *2767*3855#

If that doesn’t work, you can also try: *0206*3855#
